Floor lamp giving indirect and reflected light, made of lacquered aluminum, anodized bronze, independent double lighting, lacquered metal base.
1 x max 24 W LED 2700 ̊K 4100 lm CRI >85 + 2 x max 100 WE 27 next to Sonora and Atollo, Pascal perfectly describes the design aesthetic of Vico Magistretti: extremely pure geometric shapes, combined to create functional, symbolic compositions. In Pascal, the cone is emphasized by its repetition. At the end of the shaft, supported by a metal base, there are two inverted cones, as if balancing one on another, with light sources inside them.
However, the use of geometry has no significance here. are an aesthetic ruse, they are used for an essential practical reason: while the upper cone houses the LED circuit and acts as a 'luminator', the lower cone houses two E27 bulbs and transforms the sloping walls above into perfect reflectors, resulting in downward ambient light. Dual-circuit switches confirm the dual use of this lamp, making its functions completely autonomous. Thus, through duplication, Pascal transforms the upward-shining floor lamp also into a reading lamp, without adding anything to the absoluteness of its design.
