Product description

This popular floor lamp has two hand-riveted lampshades, each formed from delicate, lacquered metal strips. Together they constitute a striking combination of lines and curves and allow for an interesting interplay of direct and indirect light. The stand is finished in hand-stitched black leather and the neck has a polished brass collar. The A810 floor lamp was created by Alvar Aalto in 1959 for the State Pension Institute in Helsinki.
