Product description
Combining a polished brass flange with a black leather base, the A811 features a single, hand-turned shade made of delicate, lacquered metal strips that prevent glare by evenly dispersing light. The A811 was the latest addition to Alvar Aalto's floor lamp range. Although similar in form and function to the lighting created for the National Pensions Institute in Helsinki in the 1950s, the A811 floor lamp was not created until 1965.
