The North collection of floor lamps is a design by Arik Levy. Its design is elegant, diverse, dynamic and very flexible. The North collection allows you to direct the light exactly where you want it. Several arms extend from the base, two to four depending on the model, set at different angles to provide a focused lighting effect when needed. Vibia produces North floor lamps in various finishes, responding to contemporary trends, and also using LEDs as a light source. All models of floor lamps can be connected plug-in or directly.

Dimming via a button on the baseWe free ourselves from linear thinking and we interrupt the design process to create a new reality. The changing seasons, when the sun generates different reflections at different angles and intensities, inspired the North lamp collection designed by Arik Levy for VIBIA. “Waking up early in the morning before the sun rises, surfing, sitting in the water and waiting for the light to come up, then you see a very, very slow emergence of a glow of light that comes from very far away, from the sun. Then this moment is special.” The base and the light source are offset, spatially separated from each other, providing unexpected lighting effects. North generates uniform light with a local character that is flexible where it is needed.
Consisting of a traditional hanging shade suspended from an extended carbon fiber rod or arm, this lamp can be attached to a wall, ceiling or mobile heavy base . North allows multiple arms at different angles to be connected to provide a localized lighting effect where required.
“When you go into space and you see these glows in different places where you don't expect them, they're not from from the ceiling, not from the wall, not from the floor, it starts to create a different gravity in the space and if you're imaginative enough, it locks you into spaces you've never been to before. The collection is characterized by an LED light source, high flexibility and a selection of finishes; in graphite, white, cream and matte blue. These elements provide an efficient and highly interactive character that is equally suitable for private, residential, public or contract applications.
