Product description
The structure of this delicate fiberglass creation resembles a cocoon. It emits soft light enhanced by double and triple lampshades. It was designed by the world-famous Japanese architect Toyo Ito. MAYUHANA® includes hanging, floor and table lamps of various shapes, available in two colors. Soft light, reminiscent of traditional Japanese paper lanterns known as Bombori, adds an airy elegance. Like thread spun from a cocoon, MAYUHANA® is created by wrapping string around a form. Each of them is handmade by Japanese craftsmen.
