GLOBE CONE FAT is an LED floor lamp with a metal base and a polycarbonate lampshade. A brand new base that can be mixed and matched with 16 Tom Dixon lampshades, including MELT and MIRROR BALL.
About the new floor lamp, Tom explains:
There's a reason we're going back to simple geometries - these basic shapes seem suitable because they represent the most limited options for the task at hand, which is especially true with our new CONE series of conical lamp bases. After many attempts to design the optimal floor lamp base, this minimum resolution is the culmination of our efforts. A perfectly crafted metal cone becomes the most suitable and elegant base to support and enhance the many different lighting possibilities from our range of polycarbonate lampshades.
