TYPE 555 is a wall lamp with a swivel point, 3309-1 lampshade, swivel and aluminum joint.

>A milestone renaissance in classical lamp design: the Machine Lamp, first produced in the 1920s under the Midgard brand by Ronneberger & Fischer, was one of the first adjustable lamp designs in classical modernism.
The importance of the re-launch of the Midgard brand to the market In January 2017, the work lamp designed by the brand's founder Curt Fischer went back into production: an extremely versatile light source thanks to its modular design and configuration options.
Available in various table, wall, ceiling and ceiling designs floors at selected retailers worldwide, the machine lamp is currently offered in two ranges: Midgard TYP 500 (with historic base) and TYP 550 (with swivel base). A special feature of the TYP 500 and TYP 550 lamps are their maintenance-free connectors. Curt Fischer found a solution that ensured that the screws on the adjustable lamp arm would not come loose and therefore not require re-tightening, even when the arm was subjected to frequent movement. As in the past, Midgard lamps are characterized by excellent functionality, excellent workmanship and ingenuity. Midgard TYP 500 and TYP 550 lamps are still built in the spirit of their inventor, as modular and customizable designs that come as table, wall, ceiling or floor lamps. Customers can choose between different bases and arm lengths as well as different types of shades and colors, according to individual requirements. The lamps and all their parts are manufactured in Germany using original tools and techniques: die-cast aluminum joints and hand-cast lamp shades are assembled in Hamburg.
