Product description
In 1949, Le Corbusier invented the Applique d'entrée des appartments, a wall lamp made of curved sheet metal to illuminate the entrances to the Unité d'Habitation in Marseille, the symbol of the Modern Movement housing estate in its architectural and urban conception. Using the distinctive silhouette, the Master designed the wall lamp paradigm, giving it maximum efficiency while concealing the light source. The light emission can be adjusted as needed, down or up, to obtain direct or diffused light. The colors are the same as those adopted in Unité d'Habitation: iconic red, blue, white, orange and green.
