3-way switch The BALLOON lamp collection by CrousCalogero was inspired by the memories of several generations of adults and children. Don't you remember how the string of the balloon sometimes slipped through your fingers?
BALLOON ceiling and wall versions are characterized by a stylish appearance. To give these elements the desired ethereal look, the lampshade is made of satin-finished polyethylene, a translucent material that houses a low-energy fluorescent bulb. What's more, a thin red cable hangs subtly from the lampshade, which in the wall version (European version only) has an innovative triple function as a three-position switch: background light, indicator light and off. The indicator light (European version only) consists of a small 0.5 W LED bulb that gently illuminates dark spots for guidance and reassurance at night.
Estiluz was awarded the ADI-FAD Silver Delta Award for the original design of its BALLOON lamps. It is one of the most prestigious Spanish design awards that recognizes innovation, high quality production and conceptual renovation and creativity.
