IP protection class: IP20 Sculpture suspended in space, The Vela collection tells a story using planetary spheres and disks reminiscent of eclipses. The spherically formed fixtures, named after the Vela constellation, use the Rakumba Typography rail system as the axis of orbital space. Characteristic discs can both frame and darken the decorative arrangement of balls, creating a play of light and shadow.
The collection's seven unique fittings can be placed anywhere along or around the Typography rails. In turn, rails can be connected in vertical or horizontal orientation; creating works of quiet simplicity or incredible grandeur. You can choose from selected Rakumba compositions or create a unique sculpture.
Vela is the second stand-alone collection from the Typography series by Studio Truly Truly and Rakumba. With its authentic design and composition, Typography establishes a new language in decorative lighting.
