Product description

No. 214: We prefer not to use any adjectives to describe this lamp, because only superlatives can do it justice, and then the question arises: which one to choose? The "male/female" system used on the vertical supports makes it completely flexible. In addition, there is its form... but we are not the only ones who like it!
Electricity
CLII - E 14 - MAX 11W - LED or FLUOW In 1921, Bernard-Albin GRAS designed a series of lamps for use in offices and industrial environments . The GRAS lamp, as it was later called, amazed with its simple, solid and at the same time very ergonomic design. In the basic form there are no screws or welded joints. In 1927, the Ravel company purchased the patent and began producing Gras lamps.
Bernard-Albin Gras was one of the most innovative designers of the 20th century. The functional aesthetics of his lamps, especially the design of details such as the arms, shafts, brackets and bases, were truly original and well ahead of their time. Already at the beginning, Le Corbusier was seduced by the modern design and ease of use of the lamps and became one of the most enthusiastic supporters of Bernard-Albin GRAS.
