Product description

Chandelier in natural brass, hand-engraved to achieve a "silk effect". The lampshades are made of metal.
This chandelier uses a very valuable brass surface treatment technique, originally used in goldsmithing by jewelers and goldsmiths.
The peculiarity of this processing is called setatura, which is performed by skilled and experienced hands. Many closely spaced micro-cuts are made on the brass surface, which in turn create a surface resembling ancient gold silk.
The lampshades are made by hand, one by one, by welding perforated metal foil in a circle. Once completed, they are then painted tin.
Due to its shape inspired by Gothic spires, the chandelier is suitable for contemporary interiors, as well as for living rooms, decorated corridors and entrances. In the photo it is 190 cm high, but the height can be modified on request.
