IHANA x2 is an LED lamp made of glass and steel. Ihana's calm shapes define a luminous silhouette. This lighting system consists of several blown opal glass diffusers that are pleasing to the eye, appear plastic and contrast with the solidity of the metal structure that defines its shape and fastens it to the ceiling. Seeking to provide ambient lighting for any classic or contemporary interior design project, this collection can be used to create lighting compositions. This is made possible by its design, which can be expanded with 14 diffusers connected to one light point. It is available in various sizes to also illuminate rooms with high ceilings. In addition, Ihana has dim to warm technology, which allows you not only to adjust the light intensity, but also its color temperature, which can range from warm white (3000 K) to ultra warm white, simulating candle light (1800 K). . Often, a project is born out of necessity. Ihana, which means "exquisite" in Finnish, is one of them. Its creator, architect Joanna Laajisto, moved her studio to a 19th-century building in Helsinki and couldn't find any lamps that would fit her new office. In search of the beauty of light, she created a sculptural lamp characterized by pure, almost graphic forms and a balance between stiffness and fragility. Ihana is a synthesis of contrasts that combines contrasting colors, a black metallic structure and white diffusers, as well as nuances of old and new. A contemporary and timeless design created by the creator to survive the passage of time and become part of those stories where no one remembers what year it was designed.
