Berlin by Christopher Pillet is an object that rethinks the common concept of the ceiling lamp, turning its traditional discretion upside down, transforming it into a stylish, decorative presence, inspired by the aesthetic dictates of the Bauhaus. Coinciding with the 100th anniversary of this famous movement, Oluce is expanding the range of available formats, presenting a new ø50 cm version, joining the ø40 and ø30 cm models already in the collection. For use on both ceiling and wall applications, Berlin consists of a solid metal ring with a narrow profile surrounding a disc of reinforced glass. Its satin brass finish reflects the art deco style, modernized thanks to its shape and the use of LED bulbs.

anodized brass The sophistication of the Berlin luminaire is expressed by thick metal ring diffusers and a slim profile that frames two reinforced glass discs. The diffusers, two in the standing version and four in the hanging version, are supported on a slim tubular shaft and can be rotated 360° depending on lighting requirements. The Berlin shows clear art deco inspiration in its anodized brass finish and a decidedly more contemporary look with its matte black finish and LED light source. Berlin showcases its refined side through its materials and design, delivering light where it is needed and encouraging physical interaction with the object, turning people into conscious creators of their own light space, encouraging them to adapt it to their own requirements.
