LUMI SFERA - Lampshades made of satin-finished white blown glass, available in various shapes. Young Saggia&Sommella designers had a specific goal: to go beyond the typical round shape of light bulbs, which led to the creation of new diffusers with various shapes. The name Lumi is important for two reasons: the first is more direct, referring to the world of lighting, which intends to collect under one name a specific type of lamp, but with a refined and archaic expression; the second one concerns the translation of the word "snow" into Finnish, i.e. "lumi", which again emphasizes that the main feature of these lamps is an opal-white diffuser with soft and delicate shapes, just like snow. The collection consists of hanging and table lamps , floor, wall and ceiling in many different shapes and sizes, for indoor use. In addition, the Mycena series allows you to create arrangements with different glass panels using a special accessory, while the Mochi series also has a range of "falling" hanging lamps. All diffusers are made of white, satin-blown glass, while the supporting structures are made of white painted metal or polyester reinforced with glass fiber. The lamp operates on mains power and is suitable for use with halogen, fluorescent and LED bulbs.
