Product description
This timeless and elegant design is popular in both public buildings and private homes. Structurally, it refers to other lighting designs by Alvar Aalto, and the lampshade consists of thin sheets arranged in a round shape. Designed as a ceiling lamp, the A622 mounts directly to the ceiling and can be turned on via a wall switch. Created for the State Institute of Pensions in Helsinki in 1953, the A622 ceiling lamp casts a soft, diffused light.
