Colibrì is a hanging lamp from the Jardin de Verre collection by la Murrina. Made entirely of Murano glass, Colibrì is characterized by a bell containing floral elements, crafted with great skill by master glassmakers.‎
The uniqueness and delicate color palette - amethyst, honey, periwinkle and crystal - combined with the light gold of the metal elements - they give all pieces of the collection a decidedly dreamy atmosphere. Available in three sizes,

6 lights - G9 - 33 WJardin de Verre collection by Alessandro La Spada, the story of man's love for nature, the story of the 19th-century English physician Nathaniel B. Ward, who was passionate about botany. By observing the metamorphosis of a pupa enclosed in a jar with a handful of soil, Ward discovered that seeds and spores not only germinated, but survived for years.
His observation led to the so-called "Wardian cases", real ecosystems that allowed the transportation of plants and flowers from from one continent to another and became a decorative element of contemporary homes.
The chandelier, as well as wall lamps, bases and table lamps from the Jardin de Verre collection reproduce the most beautiful bell shape of Wardian cabinets and contain three different objects made of glass. The complexity and sheer beauty of the glass objects are a declaration of the skill and art of the Murano masters: a cactus with curved leaves; delicate, graceful butterflies sitting on delicate branches; the fluted bell cup and its precious rattle. The customer can compose and change the three themes to obtain a completely personalized object. The whole thing is decorated with arms in the shape of inserts that support the bell.
