Product description
It was during the 18th century, also known as the "Age of Enlightenment", that France influenced and inspired the decorative arts. New private residences are being built in which candlelight pendants "glow" like never before, becoming a basic element of the decor.
Sylvie Maréchal returns to them and discovers them anew. It breaks away from the heavy structures of the 18th century and combines the porcelain "sponge cake" with LEDs, French tradition and 21st century technology. It only retains the decorative elements, the hanging drops of the chandelier that it illuminates.
The interconnected drops "float" and re-create a classic and contemporary glow, creating airy suspensions that are strong and light, shiny and fluid, swaying with the movement of the air.
