Exclusive, sculptural, destructive. Airy and light, but intense. IN-TENSE, designed by Walter de Silva for PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING, embodies the perfect combination of dynamics and fluidity. The almost leather tension of the material explodes in a three-dimensional creation, whose refined line evolves and composes volumes in motion, while thoughtful asymmetry regains the uniqueness of the basic natural element, which is light.
Simple, functional and modern on the one hand, and exclusive on the other, sculptural and groundbreaking – these are the concepts behind this series: light seems to flow from the ceiling into a two-dimensional free space. The sculptural and destructive impression of metal emphasizes the status of a futuristic look that is able to express digitalization, emphasizing the precision of details. An organic, warm, romantic technical revolution is the concept behind this new object of German quality.
LED pendant luminaire for interiors, consisting of:
- Luminaire head made of glass with molded wave-shaped cover and applications drips made of metal, as well as a cast canopy
- Hanging tube made of metal and cable suspension on one side, with drip application
- Fluid forms create a dynamically vivid sculptural effect that remains suspended in time.
The luminaire is available with various light optics:
- Light optics made of highly transparent, glossy glass with a white ceramic edge (WHITE TR) and an integrated microprism ensuring effective light dispersion, minimizing glare and excellent uniformity
- Light optics made of highly transparent, glossy glass with black ceramic edge (BLACK TR) and integrated micro-prism for effective light dispersion, minimizing glare and excellent uniformity
- Light optics made partly of mirrored, glossy black glass with black ceramic edge (BLACK DRK) and integrated micro-prism ensuring effective light dispersion, minimizing glare and excellent uniformity
- Direct/indirect light distribution providing a better atmosphere in the room and greater visual comfort
- Sidelight LED technology ensuring even light distribution throughout cover surface
- Color rendering index Ra > 80
- Color tolerance according to MacAdam ≤ 3 SDCM
- Dimmable via TouchDIM®
