Product description

LED hanging lamp made of blown glass (40W - vertical, 60W - horizontal) from the PHOENIX collection, designed by Visser & Meijwaard for Linteloo. Dimmable with an external dimmer (not included). Glass: Blown, sandblasted glass with a marble effect.
Colored glass: salmon.
Rings: Powder-coated steel with a bronze finish.
Light source: LED strip 230V EU/UK.
br />Light color: 2700 K.
Origin: handmade in Italy.
In the 14th century, Angelo Barovier, the greatest glassmaker of all time from Murano, developed the art of calcedonia: adding oxides to glass to obtain a marbled effect, reminiscent of semi-precious chalcedony. With changing fashions, this complex technique was almost lost until it was revived in the mid-19th century.
With a family of Italian craftsmen, Dutch design duo Visser & Meijwaard opted for a minimalist tone-sur-tone style of veining in the PHOENIX lamp, complementing its elegant, clean lines, reminiscent of the Art Deco period. Individual, inflatable elements connect like beads in a necklace: a jewel in any interior.
