Product description

The Lobe aluminum pendant lamp celebrates the poetry of mechanics, expressing the rotational difference of three irregular, oval cylinders. Because the cylinders are stacked and offset from each other, each of them appears to impart angular momentum, which stops; as a result, the composition of each device constantly changes when viewed from different perspectives.
The cylindrical sections are machined from solid billet aluminum with a hard anodized finish. The connected elements create a uniform sculptural form, and the bevelled edges emphasize the individuality of the parts.
