Pure BioAir is an OLEV lamp Made in Italy designed for air sanitization. Thanks to the axial fan exhaust system, the lamp draws air towards the source of UV-C rays inside it.
UV-C rays are known for their effective bactericidal power. The air passes through a UV-C source and is cleansed of germs, bacteria and viruses. The purified air is then sent back to the environment.
The bactericidal effectiveness of Pure BioAir against bacteria and viruses in the air is 99%. It can suck out and purify air with a volume of 30 m3 within 8 hours of operation.
The lamp has been tested on strains of viruses that are much more resistant to UV-C radiation than those responsible for the Sars-Cov-2 virus.
The lamp has been tested laboratory tested by Gelt International - Tecnal, an analytical laboratory, in accordance with the provisions set out in the technical standard ISO15714:2019 - Method for assessing the UV dose for airborne microorganisms passing through channeled ultraviolet radiation of a germicidal device. It has a special surface treatment: the paint is protected by a transparent, antibacterial coating with microcapsules based on silver ions, which is 99% effective against germs and bacteria. The necessary ambient light comes from a very high color rendering index LED source located at the bottom of the lamp, which disperses the light beam downwards.
The lamp can also be equipped with ultra-dark paddle screens to prevent glare from any direction.
Pure BioAir has been designed especially for offices because it provides excellent visual comfort. The downward-facing LED has a very high color rendering index, and diffusers at the bottom of the lamp body prevent glare from any viewing point, ensuring a UGR (Unified Glare Rating) lower than 19.
These features make it ideal for to work on video terminals. OLEV has designed a very quiet exhaust fan system.
Pure BioAir does not have any filter that needs to be replaced. The air is purified thanks to the bactericidal power of UV-C light hidden inside the lamp, which does not need to be emptied or cleaned. The UV-C light source used has a very high bactericidal effectiveness. For this reason, OLEV has designed a lamp structure that is 100% safe for humans, hiding and enclosing UV-C rays in the lamp core so that they never come into contact with the surroundings. Tillandsia plants are an optional accessory.
