Dedicato is an asymmetrical lantern, balanced by the oldest and most authentic element of the Venetian blown glass tradition - Bava.
In glassworks, the shapeless part of glass that passes from the blower to the mouth of the mold or cage is called Bava.
Although it was born thanks to the blown glass technique and has retained its shape unchanged for hundreds of years, it is still stigmatized as post-production waste.
The creator of the lamp gave aesthetic value to the oldest and most underrated part of blown glass, forming the centerpiece of his original version of the Venetian lantern.
