The line of hand-woven wicker lamps is the result of the creative bond between Bottega Intreccio and the architect Maurizio Bernabei. A modular system of interwoven cones, decorated with lampshades of various pure geometric shapes. The result is "naturally essential" and at the same time "harmoniously variable", each element has its own identity, its own "character". Each shape and each lampshade interacts with light and space in a unique way. Each creation of the Caratteri collection is handmade by masters from Mogliano, exclusively from natural materials. Each piece is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece.
With a large, spherical shade made from up to 138 meters of woven wicker, the lamps require expert craftsmanship to add "imposte" (structural posts around which the lamp can be wrapped with wicker threads) in place opening the surface of the ball and thoroughly covering the ends of all strands. The circular part combines its form with the conical segment.
All components are made of natural materials and are guaranteed for indoor use.
For outdoor use, provided they are sufficiently protected from the weather and not directly exposed to the sun or water, it is recommended to install them below: gazebos, verandas or spaces protected against weather conditions.
