Milana is a hanging lamp made of polycarbonate, whose design is based on the idea of moving the light point. Milana is a system of modular hanging lamps that connect to each other and can be moved both vertically and horizontally. Paradoxically, the new project begins with the deconstruction of the lamp archetype; synthesizing it as much as possible, all that remains is a cylindrical body, suspended with a built-in LED. We can add various conical lampshades available in several sizes to this cylinder. But most ingenious of all is that each of these lamps can have a simple counterweight so that when suspended between two points, they can be moved. The almost imperceptible lens covers the LED and distributes the light. If we only use a cylindrical lamp, the downward light will be impeccable, and when we add a lampshade, the light escapes, illuminating the lamp itself. This new lighting system gives the user control over the light, offering a new conceptual proposition. Covering and uncovering lamps, moving them up, down and sideways. Mixing cylindrical shapes or combining them with decorative lamps. Milana allows you to create countless compositions, a symphony of light.
