Product description

"Canopy" means ceiling plate: the simplest and most neglected element of lighting design, the one that, when applied to the ceiling, covers the outgoing wire, has now been improved (in fact, the design was developed from the ceiling plate usually used in Oluce): its symbolic power is revealed. Enlarged, enhanced with the possibility of internal coloring, it is transformed into a reflector of an important hanging lamp. For now, it would only mean a new shape. However, the invention involves the use of a source, a "circoline", i.e. a round lamp. A special bulb, protected by a metal disc, emits an extremely delicate and mysterious glow. "Canopy" draws from an important hanging lamp in the history of design, namely "Sonora" by Vico Magistretti, to revolutionize its shape and lighting and technical principles.
