Dimmable: DALI, 0-10V, 1-10V, switchDIM, Casambi, Google home and Amazon Alexa°Bloc is a new way of thinking integrated light. Choose from several fixtures and add natural materials such as marble, wood, brass, anodized aluminum, or even a material of your choice to meet your unique styling requirements.
Eden Design has noticed that black and white are the dominant colors in the lighting industry , especially in linear lighting. This inspired Eden Design to create an alternative. The company did not want to limit itself to using only one material, it wanted to push the boundaries and discover the use of various materials. Eden Design had in mind an elegant appearance, easy to assemble, modular and without visible fasteners. To be able to transmit electricity to various lighting fixtures, a standard rail was chosen.
The blocks are attached to this rail using clamps and/or adapters. The biggest challenge was matching the different materials, each of which had its own unique characteristics. It was important for us to work with authentic, high-quality materials – without imitations and to source them locally. The seemingly simple form hides complexity and sophistication.
The milling of marble elements is carried out with the highest precision to the standard that can usually be expected from metal products. It took us 2.5 years to bring this complex lighting design to market, working with over ten different suppliers and exceptional craftsmanship. With °Bloc, Eden Design is pioneering a solution that provides the freedom to combine a variety of luxurious materials in a high-end linear lighting design.
