Created by repeating a basic module, Scopas is a hanging lamp consisting of a sphere with an incomplete structure. The constantly changing appearance, depending on the point from which it is viewed, radically breaks the pattern of clean and sometimes monotonous forms that usually characterize this type of lamps. Like the Imperial Death Star from Star Wars, stationary in space, its apparent incompleteness contrasts with its technical efficiency.
