Product description

Twee T. is a lamp system designed by Jake Phipps for Casamania. The idea of a cage refers to the ancient tradition of canaries in homes: since the Egyptian civilizations and Roman times we can see the presence of canaries in homes; in the Middle Ages and in English courts, having them in drawing rooms was a sign of good breeding. In this way, a high-ranking British icon became an object-lamp. Figure symbol, enhanced with gilding and useful thanks to its luminous function. The birds are made of hand-decorated BOSA ceramics, painted black or plated with 24-carat gold; structure made of metal rod painted black or gilded in the total gold version. The LED lighting fixture is placed on the base of the cage, covered with a double polycarbonate cover, which illuminates the room on one side and illuminates the interior of the cage on the other.
MATERIALS AND FINISHES
Cage: metal bar painted black or plated with 24 carat gold.
Birds: hand-decorated ceramics (Bosa), painted black or plated with 24-carat gold.
LED lighting fixtures placed on the base of the cage, covered with a double polycarbonate cover, which illuminate the room on one side and illuminate the interior of the cage on the other.
