The Cabana lamp is intended to provide a sense of seclusion and shelter similar to Galician huts, that is, cabins that served to protect raw materials or as a shelter from adverse weather conditions. The lampshade is made using the 3D knitting method, a technique commonly used in the textile industry, but rarely used in lighting. This makes it possible to create seamless lampshades in three dimensions without producing excess material. The aluminum canopy, fabric and gravity will do the rest. The parchment diffuser provides the weight needed for the lamp to take its shape. It also filters light, creating very comfortable, uniform lighting, much like shelter in beach cabanas. It is very easy to install and simple to disassemble when replacing the bulb. In addition to being made from recycled and recyclable materials, the lamp can be shipped in a small package and stretched to its final shape and volume, reducing its carbon footprint.
