Product description
NL12 is a hanging lamp made of borosilicate glass.
Between eloquent laconicism and refined brutalism, lit like an electro-constructivist Kraftwerk video, the collaboration between DCWéditions and Sebastian Summa has been extended with a new, expressive element: the wonderful NL12 suspension.
Designed to illuminate a large dining room table, this lamp, cleverly equipped with an eye-deceiving device, consists of twelve borosilicate glass tubes. Only one of these lamps serves as the central unit and is the source of light, the rest transmit its dispersion through light refraction and a prism.
With no visible wire, visible LEDs and visible aluminum structure, NL12 evokes a heavenly atmosphere - a ray that is both radical and poetic. Using his aesthetic skills, Sebastian Summa invented, to suspend it from the ceiling, a pair of brackets resembling gymnastic clamps, designed to perfectly balance the bundle of tubes. This permanent piece of equipment adds a post-industrial, sporty touch to the set and indicates a clearly craftsmanship tour de force.
