Product description
Metropolis draws inspiration from the dazzling, seductive atmosphere of the 1920s, drawing on the lively ferment in the visual arts, design, architecture and fashion of the period.
A collection that powerfully evokes the class, symmetrical and plastic forms of Art Deco, shaped by harmonious, smooth rhythm. The chandelier has a central chalice-shaped body with arms extending from it, handmade from blown Venetian crystal. The elements are distinguished by a solid diameter, softened by external ribs with a longitudinal arrangement. The sinuous arms bend and reach outwards, first sliding down and then opening up. The light source is hidden in opal glass lampshades, surrounded at both ends by metal collars. The moldings, proportions and entire structure of these end parts suggest the upper structure of classical columns topped with capitals. This special character and intense dialogue between materials is even more pronounced in the elegant, essential wall model, with its own design and dimensions.
