Product description

Fregio is a project that transforms a ceramic bas-relief with floral glaze into a new hanging and wall lamp produced in collaboration with the historic Gatti studio in Faenza, known for its collaborations with outstanding artists of all eras. Fregio is a horizontal composition, an impressive and extremely decorative lamp; the suspended version is ideal for illuminating tables or desks, emitting light both down and up.
Two ceramic sections are attached to a metal profile containing LEDs, thanks to two strips placed at the ends. These purely structural presences borrowed from the lexicon of packaging and international shipping of goods become the glue and connection of two clearly contrasting dimensions: on the one hand, the structural mechanics of the modern device; on the other, an ornate floral decoration. Fregio's dual identity, with its lighting function and passion for narrative, makes it an object that enters into dialogue with space even when the lamp is turned off. Fregio is available in a hanging version with a length of 120 cm and a wall version with a length of 75 cm, in the colors matte white, berrettino and shiny red.
