Inspired by the photographer's use of lighting equipment, PODGY strives to create accurate lighting that serves the needs of everyday life. Combining several classic elements from Scandinavian design heritage with a refined expression focusing on composition and materiality, Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen has positioned PODGY in the contemporary present.
An integral part of PODGY is an aluminum honeycomb structure that casts pleasantly diffused light, while also providing targeted lighting. The honeycomb matrix was originally used by photographers to generate soft and controlled light in the studio.
The spherical dimmer located on the top of the PODGY allows you to adjust the light density and intensity, as well as change the look and feel of the lamp, creating a fun interaction between the lamp and you.
