Agape was founded in 1973 by the Benedini family. During these 40 years of experience in the bathroom industry, two brothers, both architects, took turns running the company. The designer of many of the company's most successful products, Giampaolo has been instrumental in creating a new bathroom concept: from the irreplaceable room to the essential part of modern life.
Since the 1990s, Emanuele has been responsible for running the company successfully maintaining the constant beauty of the collection; by giving space to products designed by his brother, and by highlighting some of the most interesting designers currently internationally.
He has given the company international status, generating an export turnover of around 70% of the total. Agape was the first to offer a full range of bathroom products and accessories, conceived as an architectural space.

Taking care at every stage of the manufacturing process, Agape analyzes complete design proposals, from designer consultation to production, logistics finished product and assembly. All this is the result of meticulous research on expression codes, whose aesthetic appearance, material quality and functionality will last long into the future.

In this perspective, Agape, in cooperation with Habitech and TÜV Italy, mapped its products in accordance with the LEED® certification standards, providing for the use of new, sustainable materials with an ecological certificate. In addition to those traditionally used, of high quality and produced in Italy, Agape was the first to include in its catalog numerous products made of the Cristalplant® biobase. This eco-friendly Solid Surface is innovative in terms of composition, technical properties and performance, with the added bonus that it can be easily refurbished and recycled.
