Inspired by Agapecasa
Agapecasa extends Agape's vision to the entire home life with original products that are refined, functional and modern. The Mangiarotti Collection is a furniture collection made from prototypes designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in the early 1950s: a design classic, thoroughly tested and updated in full compliance with Studio Mangiarotti. The collection includes objects of everyday life, very different, although designed by the same author, extremely relevant to today's needs and consistent, despite the fact that they are designed over the course of fifty years. Created by a designer who was able to experiment and set new reference parameters in typology, form and construction, the collection offers items that treat the objects of our life in an unconventional way (chairs, tables, shelves and cabinets).
The "Mangiarotti Collection" consists of 13 designs carefully crafted according to drawings by Angelo Mangiarotti and based on reliefs and a study of the original models. Designs carried out by Maestro since the early 1950s have been thoroughly analyzed technically and constructively, then reviewed and reinterpreted to meet the changing needs of our time and adapted to today's quality, durability and safety standards. The 'Mangiarotti Collection' faithfully reproduces some of Mangiarotti's most famous designs, which were made with respect for the needs of more contemporary production, introducing slight structural changes but carefully preserving the theoretical, compositional and formal aspects of one of the great artists of the 20th century. An additional guarantee of quality and originality is that each item in the collection bears the signature of the designer, and marble and stone furniture has an electronic label. Thanks to this, it is possible to trace all relevant data and features, from the serial number to the name of the dealer and even the customer, as well as from materials to technologies used in production
in this way and the tag will certify the unprecedented originality of the product. < / br>
Angelo Mangiarotti is one of the big names in 20th century Italian design, like Mies van der Rohe, but with an engineering background
like Jean Prouvé, but with a freer and more creative spirit
like Constantin Brancusi, but in line with the construction technology of his time: this is Angelo Mangiarotti. He has managed to use his unique talent for projects of various scales, from architecture to design, and although he is a supporter of strict functionalism, he has never neglected in his works the search for elegance and beauty. With his skilful reflections on plasticity and form, he exceeded conventional boundaries and moved in sculpture, always using modern materials and production processes. His approach and underlying principles have always been the result of a deep awareness of the importance of ethical values, and he has skillfully created his own "happiness" through the "correctness" of his practice, in the inevitable dualism of ethics and the reconciliation of aesthetics.
