Betec Licht AG is now in the 41st year as an innovative lighting manufacturer with an international reputation. Since 1979, this German manufacturer has remained true to its roots, creating each lamp 100% handcrafted and produced from scratch near its base in Munich. Betec Licht AG is a world leader in the picture lamp market, and the success of its products is confirmed by this award. Lettenmayer himself designed the first famous "Clarus" picture lamp. The lamp became an art object and was awarded the Kunstschutz title in 1987 by OLG Munich. The latest edition of "Angulus" picture lamps was awarded the Good Design Award in 2016. The popular "Acus Office" LED office series received the IF Design Award in 2014 for minimized technology, aesthetics in motion and processing.
