Came SpA, a group known both in Italy and around the world in the sectors of home and building automation, urban planning and high security, presents itself as a global partner in the residential world and in the field of urban architecture and control of large public spaces. It offers technological solutions for automation, safety, comfort and well-being and develops integrated solutions for parking lots and systems for vehicle and pedestrian traffic regulation and access control, from small environments to large urban areas.

Group, under the brand names Came, Bpt and Go manufactures and markets solutions for entrance automation, home automation and security systems, video intercoms and temperature control systems, and sectional doors for residential and industrial environments. Thanks to the Urbaco and Parkare brands, it offers solutions for special projects and urban planning, as well as systems for the management of automatic parking lots and parking meters, as well as for access control and protection of the public environment.

Social responsibility, environmental protection , the development of human capital and the focus on the quality of both products and services are the core values of Came's philosophy.

In 2008, the company was one of the first in the Veneto region to develop a social budget, an instrument certifying its policy social, environmental and economic and continuous investment in research and innovation. The company is based in Dosson di Casier, in the province of Treviso, with production facilities in Treviso, Sesto al Reghena (PN), Avignon (France), Barcelona (Spain) and London (England). Belonging to the Menuzzo family, Came SpA maintains a close relationship with its Italian roots, but also has a strong emphasis on internationalization, with 21 branches and 480 distributors and business partners in 118 countries. The group currently employs more than 1,400 employees worldwide and recorded a turnover of 230 million euros in 2014.

Search for quality
To guarantee the quality of its products, Came certifies them, making use of partnerships with authoritative bodies and accredited test houses. The company has also established an in-house Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electrical Safety (LVD) testing laboratory, ensuring a certification, verification and reliability process from the first stages of product development. With the aim of constantly seeking perfection in its solutions and efficiency in its production processes, Came has built a solid network that is able to meet market demands and combine Italian excellence with large international players.

Group structure
The design and nerve center of Came's entire engineering department is headquartered in Dosson di Casier, reflecting the Group's decision to design in Italy. In the offices in the Treviso region, the company uses external suppliers for the assembly of its products, with whom it has established mutual trust for over 40 years of operation.

The production plants, in perfect synergy with the development center, are located in strategic points, which allow the integration of pan-Italian quality with the best technologies offered by European players.
Parkare, a leading designer of advanced parking systems, is based in Barcelona, the heart of the Smart City; Urbaco is located in France, a country that has always been at the forefront of city control and the cradle of automatic bollards.

On the other hand, in the UK, Came has focused on a facility that specializes in entrance panel technologies, while in Italy, the Group is complemented by the Sesto al Reghena development center, a state-of-the-art electronics design center, and the GO experience synonymous with quality in Italian production. The prestigious award, awarded by ADI (Italian Association of Industrial Design) XVia, a turnstile designed to welcome visitors to Expo 2015 in Milan, including it in the ADI Design Index and thereby guaranteeing its candidacy for the next edition of the ADI Compasso d'Oro, the most authoritative the world award for design.

Came history
The Came Group, with more than 60 years of experience in the market, has its roots in the history of Came and Bpt, symbolizing all-Italian technological innovation and excellence.

Came was founded in the early 1970s as a result of the entrepreneurial idea of the current CEO, Paolo Menuzzo, who founded CM Costruzioni Meccaniche - which then evolved into Came Cancelli Automatici - one of the first Italian companies to manufacture gate drives .

1990s, addition to ed production of door and gate operators for private and industrial use with the first product lines dedicated access control in public spaces, which will continue to develop in the coming years. In 2004, Urbaco, an industry-leading company for automatic bollards and urban solutions, joined the Group.

In 2005, Andrea Menuzzo joined his father at the helm of the company as general manager responsible for development internationalization of the Group by opening branches in Europe, America, Asia and by acquiring strategic distributors on various foreign markets. In 2011, in order to strengthen the Group's presence in these areas, the prestigious company Bpt, founded in 1953, specializing in automation technologies and the security sector, was acquired. In 2014, the Spanish company Parkare, specializing in the technology of automatic parking lots and parking meters, also joined the Group. A year later, in 2015, GO was also taken over. This company from the Friuli region is a master of the "Made in Italy" concept and specializes in the design, production and installation of sectional doors for both the residential and industrial sectors.
