Inspired by Capoferri Serramenti
Capoferri Serramenti produces architectural windows and doors. What started as a carpentry specializing in the production of wooden frames was later expanded to include shutters, interior doors and stairs. Thanks to the collaboration with such great designers as Renzo Piano, Michele de Lucchi, David Chipperfield, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson and Antonio Citterio, Capoferri Serramenti windows and doors are used all over the world, from homes to large public projects. Each window and door frame is custom made to the designer's specifications and can be fully customized both aesthetically and technically, guaranteeing safety, light control and thermal insulation that require a lot of light or important projects where the frames need to be kept to a minimum. Large frames with minimal profiles provide exceptional thermal insulation and resistance to wind and water. Manual or motorized lift-slide opening is always smooth and technologically efficient, down to the last detail thanks to precise mechanics. Plathéa is an extremely efficient system with a minimalist design, available in stainless steel, bronze, brass and iron finishes to suit historical contexts. Ferrofinestra guarantees increased thermal insulation. The aesthetics are ensured by slender profiles, and the glass is available in various sizes, making Ferrofinestra a thermal insulation window suitable for any context, as well as for large facades. The technologically refined details have given the product the highest UNI certificates. The windows, which are entirely manufactured in Capoferri factories, are tested to ensure excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as air and water tightness. Available in painted steel, satin stainless steel and oxidized bronze, they are equipped with stainless steel hinges and handles that allow trouble-free opening of standard to very large and heavy windows.
Capoferri windows for historical buildings, residences and international projects The main challenge of Capoferri Serramenti is the production of custom windows and doors for important historical or office buildings, places of worship or residences. Over the years, the brand has been involved in the implementation of important works, such as the Triennale di Milano panoramic terrace or the Pavilion of the United Arab Emirates at Expo 2015. Capoferri's windows and doors have achieved high technical and aesthetic quality thanks to cooperation with international architects and designers. The collaboration with Bohlin Cywinski Jackson was one of the brand's longest-running partnerships
started with a Canadian residence in 2012, with thermally damaged windows and doors designed to withstand the harshest mountain environments. Collaboration with the famous Renzo Piano has resulted in stainless steel windows and doors at the Pinacoteca Agnelli in Lingotto, Turin, an emergency door at the Padre Pio Church in San Giovanni Rotondo, and bronze windows and doors at the Parco della Musica auditorium in Rome. Capoferri Serramenti has been involved in many other private and public contracts, from hotels to office buildings, museums and temporary installations, meeting the expectations of customers and designers, even under the toughest conditions.
