Inspired by Epònimo

Epònimo was founded in 2014 by Federico Carandini, former Creative Director of Baleri Italia, and Alberto Colzani, who have been creating products for the same company for over 10 years. They were united by the desire to create a furniture collection that upholds the high principles of design - the foundation of their cultural and professional environment - at the same time appealing to the changing aesthetic and material sensitivity of today's society. The new project starts in Fuorisalone in Milan, the city where the company was founded and where the first collection of products was presented. Six years later, the collection includes more than 50 products and is sold worldwide to retailers and designers in the home and contract industries.

Epònimo Products The company is still based in Milan and all products are manufactured within fifty kilometers of our offices with local suppliers, small shops and artisans. Although the Epònimo catalog focuses on the main products for the living room and dining room - sofas, armchairs, chairs, tables, low tables, side tables and a few accessories - they are usually quite versatile and easy to transfer to other environments. The collection mediates between memories of the past and the possibilities of the present, integrating the knowledge of aesthetic and technical innovations that are the basic elements of contemporary furniture. The performance of Eponimo's works is always technically modern, but their aesthetic inspiration spans time: most of them are original concepts developed with a strong contemporary identity, while some evolve from promising archetypes and models of the past. We work with high-quality natural materials, and our products are mostly handmade and always hand-finished. After all, they are functional, comfortable, elegant and, above all, unique.
