Glimakra of Sweden is a Swedish value driven company with factors such as Scandinavian acoustics, higher design, greater flexibility and better quality. Thanks to them, we create favorable soundscapes for various types of public spaces. Thanks to our knowledge and experience, we develop and manufacture products in-house in Glimåkra. We cooperate with many outstanding designers on a permanent basis. We have been working with wood for almost 70 years and have gained solid experience. In the factory, craftsmanship is passed down from generation to generation in natural order. From the company's inception in 1948 to 1998, the production of hand looms was an important part of the company's operations. In the mid-1980s, the company focused more and more on designed interior products for public spaces. Since 2006, we have been producing custom-made windows for modern villas, apartment buildings and historic buildings, and since 2012, we have been producing a wall and screen system made of high-pressure decorative laminate for shower cabins, laundry rooms and dressing rooms. 2016 Glimakra from Sweden bought the production plant in Tranås, a leading supplier of veneered elements for the furniture and interior joinery industries. With the customer in mind, we strive to ensure that our activities have as little impact on the environment as possible. Our products are timeless and of the highest quality with a long service life. We use clean, unmixed materials whenever possible, which makes it easier to recycle the products. To further protect the environment, we select suppliers in the immediate vicinity, thus reducing transport distances. Our goal is to meet the requirements of our customers with each individual order on our terms. Our customers should be sure that the delivery will be made on time and of the right quality.
