JANUS et Cie is a company founded in 1978 by the American designer Janice Feldman and awarded with the Titan Award IIDA 2018 for its unique contribution to innovative materials and excellent craftsmanship. Finally, the name Janus refers to the Roman god with two faces, which in the case of JANUS et Cie evokes a double view of innovation and tradition. A company specializing in the design and production of garden furniture for contract use is based on these values. JANUS et Cie offers a catalog of over 6,000 items, including sofas and armchairs, tables and chairs, cabinets and top-shelf accessories, characterized by exclusive design and innovative and efficient materials. In addition to numerous projects that are the result of the creativity of the versatile founder, the company has the work of world famous designers such as Piero Lissoni, Patricia Urquiola, Paola Navone, just to name a few. Since its debut at the Los Angeles Pacific Design Center, JANUS et Cie has grown to around twenty stores worldwide. The Amalfi collection has a design inspired by Etruscan furniture and features a stainless steel structure painted in white vermouth, slate or Tuscan bronze. The collection offers a full range of furniture, from tables to coffee tables with a transparent tempered glass top and seats. Among the latter, covered with lush fabric cushions, the Amalfi garden sofa and the Amalfi garden chair stand out for their elegance, topped with a canopy of slightly draped fabric.

The colonial-inspired Arbor garden furniture series includes tables, coffee tables and chests of drawers with teak wood, to which seats have been added, characterized by a structure made of JANUSfiber fiber, a hand-woven synthetic fiber that is 100% recyclable and is resistant to UV rays and stains.

Quadratl series, designed by Orlando Diaz -Azcuy, explores the possibilities of aluminum through highly specialized profiles and castings. Sophisticated and elegant, in addition to individual seats and coffee tables, the collection includes the Quadratl modular sofa, thanks to which you can create countless configurations.

The unique Gina collection, signed by Piero Lononi, is made of aluminum, sea rope and teak. The skillfully woven nautical rope creates enveloping shells for the seat, enriched with soft cushions, an armchair and a small car seat, to which a modular interlocking sofa and dormeuse have been added. The Gina coffee table with teak top can be transformed into a stool or footstool and add kitchens. The series includes a range of chat, lounge and dining areas surrounded by comfortable footrests, tables and coffee tables. The garden lounger - the Fibonacci chaise longue - rests directly on the ground thanks to the steel structure that hides under a shell that resembles a shell lying on the seabed.

The new sculptural forms of armchairs, stools, tables and coffee tables are made of JANUSfiber and are available in 6 finishes: Limestone, Bronze, Bamboo Green, Caramel, Palladium Twill and Smoke.

Janice Feldman also signed a new collection Bon Vivant Poufs, made of expanded foam covered with a waterproof technical fabric. Available in two sizes, Bon Vivant Pouf and Bon Vivant Grande Pouf, in Hemp, Walnut and Raw Umber finishes, the poufs can also be used as coffee tables, complemented by a wide range of products for the lounge area, consisting of a two-seater sofa and a three-seater sofa. . The result is an intricate crochet, delicate yet sturdy and flexible.

The award-winning Anatra collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola, features aluminum seats and hand-woven sailing rope, including dining chairs, armchairs, sofas and a range of aluminum tables and coffee tables with marble or ceramic bases. The Cone II table, winner of the IIDA / HD Product Design Awards 2019, is presented with a new marble top finish that surrounds the table, inside the original version, in laminate with a slate effect finish.

Designed by Studio RCH, the Rio collection is a modular series of infinitely modular outdoor benches designed for public spaces. The powder coated aluminum tubular structure consists of rectangular posts with rounded corners connected by pipes forming a seat. Modules are available with or without a backrest, straight or curved and in a variety of colors.
