Paola Paronetto, born in 1965, is a world-renowned ceramic designer and artist. After extensive training in the best Italian ceramics centers, which allowed her to perfect her technical and artistic skills, Paronetto set up her workshop in the countryside of Pordenone. Driven by the desire to experiment with the unlimited possibilities of working with the modest material, which is clay, the artist managed to create objects with strong aesthetic personalities. Everyday items shaped by the skilled hands of Paola Paronetto turn into unique and exclusive home decorations and table accessories. Each piece is handcrafted using a technique that the artist has perfected over the years. The Paper Clay technique makes it possible to create light and durable objects from a mixture of clay and cellulose fibers. Paronett's very personal interpretation of this method allowed for the creation of objects seemingly made of paper and cardboard, whose irregular shapes and rough texture create graphic effects and emphasize the artist's carefully selected colors. In addition to the Paper Clay collection, Paronetto produces porcelain and stoneware items made of the finest clay, decorated with motifs inspired by nature and three-dimensional paintings made of various ceramic mixtures.

Paola Paronetto table accessories - a meeting of art and design In its I collection Cartocci Paola Paronetto has reinterpreted conventional table accessories, combining art and design. Fruit cups, dessert bowls, decanters and bottles transform from everyday objects into delightful and delicate sculptures. Handcrafted individually using the Paper Clay technique, Cartocci is available in a variety of sizes and finishes . The "cartoccio" finish consists of a complex weave with alternating horizontal and vertical grooves. Other finishes are "smooth" and "bark", characterized by wide vertical stripes. The 24 color palette ranges from white to natural to gorgeous, dazzling shades, all with extraordinary intensity. Over time, the artist introduced several decorative varieties, such as gold-colored inserts, colors and applications of prints and images. The Anemone and Tulipano bowls are inspired by the graceful shapes of flowers and are available in cartoccio, plain or bark finishes, with a gold-colored inlay or interior. Thanks to their slim shapes and sloping necks, the decorative bottles are available in 10 different heights, from a 30 cm mignon to a 135 cm maxi. They create dramatic sculptural compositions of various sizes and colors. Real sculptural objects, such as the Metropoli series, consist of single or multiple cylindrical elements of different heights, available in shades of white or with golden inserts. The Oltre l'Apparenza collection is a series of new works made by mixing sheets of corrugated cardboard with clay. The sheets appear to be two-dimensional, but in fact conceal cylindrical vases at the back to keep them balanced. The vases from the Cactus series, whose "bark" finish has various shades of green, resemble cacti with vases of various sizes placed at different heights along the central stem. The vases and bottles in the Fide series, available in "cartoccio" and "corteccia" finishes, are inspired by church architecture such as the bell towers or the baptistery. The Cartocci catalog also includes hanging lamps for lighting a kitchen or dining room in a rustic or industrial style. The Anemone lamp has a jagged, irregular edge, the characteristic conical shape of which gives it a strong aesthetic appearance. Variants include all Cartocci finishes as well as numerous colors. The interior can be raw or covered with gold leaf or white enamel. Thanks to the "smooth" or "bark" finish and the white enamel interior, the Sufi lamp has a diameter of 20 centimeters and a height of 20 to 30 centimeters. Sufi looks best in compositions of various sizes and colors. The latest creation is the Bosco e Pistilla collection, whose tubular shapes and "bark" are inspired by nature. They achieve maximum expression in groups.
