Inspired by Kelly Wearstler

After studying graphics and architecture in Boston and New York, Kelly Wearstler moved to Los Angeles in 1995, where she founded the company that bears her name. The company is distinguished by an unconventional, decorative style inspired by travel, nature, architecture, fashion, graphics, literature and art, as well as the works of Pierre Cardin, Oscar Niemeyer, Carlo Scarpa, Louis Kahn, Gio Ponti and Carlo Mollino. This mix can be found in her interior design and luxury lifestyle brand collections, including collections of furniture, lighting, carpets, textiles, wall coverings, tiles, bedding, porcelain, decorative home accessories and art objects. The reputation of Kelly Wearstler is linked to the hospitality sector: after her first hotel project, the Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills, she designed several international properties for the Viceroy Group, decorated the Four Seasons Anguilla, the Bergdorf Goodman restaurant in New York, and numerous projects for the Good Hospitality group. Her work in hotels is complemented by numerous residential projects including Bellagio Residence Bel-Air, Hillcrest Estate in Beverly Hills, Malibu Beach mansion, Evergreen Lane home on Mercer Island, Washington, Spring Street loft in New York, and homes for film, music, and celebrities arts and show business such as Cameron Diaz, Gwen Stefani and Ben Stiller.

Bold and luxurious: Kelly Wearstler style The first real Kelly Wearstler furniture collection was launched in October 2015. a modern and personal collection consisting of sixty-two copies grouped into a series of complementary lines. The furniture collection includes the following: Roxbury, dining table, dining chair and console table with arched bases reminiscent of the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana in Rome, a masterpiece of modern architecture loved by Wearstler; Laurel, entirely devoted to luxury upholstery, with generous, super-comfortable organic shapes; the Griffith and Grafton lines, including wardrobes, mirrors and tables decorated with jewel-like hemispherical pieces of pyrite; A melange, with thin polished bronze legs, cast from a plaster model sculpted in Wearstler's workshop. The expanded Kelly Wearstler furniture collection, launched at the end of 2020, presents several reinterpreted elements and new furniture and lighting that are faithful to the bold and luxurious aesthetics of the Wearstler brand; its hallmarks can be found in details such as ribbed travertine columns and sofas upholstered in tobacco-colored abstract fabrics. Colin's attractive organic sideboard was crafted in white resin by a Los Angeles craftsman and finished to resemble a plaster sculpture. The Phobos Chair shows that two materials, such as handcrafted polished brass and natural stone, known for their strength and stiffness, can become one fluid form. With its repetitive arches and a small but monolithic scale, the Roxbury Petite Console pays homage to classical architecture. The medium frequency hurricane echoes Scandinavian minimalism, but also the energy and spirit of the Californian coast. Art-oriented items complete the collection. The Isadora table is halfway between the furniture and the sculpture; characterized by a cast brown base with six legs and covered with a tempered glass top with a polished brown stripe. In May 2021, the collection expanded with the Transcendence family, featuring elegant and extravagant furniture, lighting and decorations that explore the possibilities of materials and challenge the conventions of scale. Key features are the Oblique table collection in a variety of wood species, born of a custom design for a private residence, and irregularly shaped marble Triad tables, surrounded by thick brass slabs bent and welded to wrap the stone. The eclectic, charming and bold taste of the American designer is also sought after by many brands that introduce collections designed by Kelly Wearstler. The newest ones include the American textile and wallpaper manufacturer Lee Jofa, the carpet manufacturer The Rug Company and Farrow & amp; Ball. Wearstler has launched a new line of wall paints called California Collection.
