Inspired by Romeo Design

The artisan brand Romeo Design was born in 2014, when Ignazio and Lucia, strengthened by thirty years of experience gained so far through their involvement in the screen printing and advertising sector and stimulated by the fundamental contribution of their son Filippo, decided to open up the world of design.
From the very beginning, it was decided to give the project a strong association through the design and production of furniture initially inspired by the artistic works of Ignazio Romeo. Many years of experience in the field of screen printing, also focused on the production of plastic prints, has resulted in the knowledge of many artists with whom "Romeo Design" promises to cooperate, inviting them to contribute to future projects.

Art and design Pollution between art and design are certainly not a new phenomenon, but this kind of experimentation has been shared in the more or less recent past mainly by big names in art and equally important producers. Just a few years ago, small design studios were established, which also had a laboratory where you could physically experiment with ideas and create prototypes personally. In these "idea workshops", spontaneous creations arise, detached from fashions and conventions, independent of production processes, more oriented towards creating individual works or small series. This path was also chosen by the company "Romeo Design", which breathes life into its creations in its laboratory in Gorizia, a small border town where pollution manifests itself in various forms.

With certain specific processes or during implementation of semi-finished products is based on a network of trusted craftsmen with whom it has established cooperation thanks to a solid family business. This targeted work, which we refer to as "part mapping", is determined during the design phase when products are designed, while assembly, specific machining and all finishing operations are performed in your laboratory. The packaging study and presentation to the public are also designed by a graphic designer whose primary task is not only to represent the "shape" but also to try to convey the "story" behind each item.
