Inspired by Scarabeo Ceramiche

Scarabeo was founded in 1974 by Giovanni Calisti along with other partners. Within a few years, the Calisti family became the sole owners of the company. The company started the production of ceramic bathroom accessories and became the European leader in this field. Meanwhile, in Italy, Scarabeo started working with renowned companies such as Ideal Standard, Cesame, Dolomite and Pozzi Ginori, acquiring important technological and manufacturing know-how and experimenting with alternative production materials that allowed the company to become more competitive in the market. < / br>
The distribution network has grown significantly and Scarabeo products are now sold in over 40 countries around the world. Exports still account for two-thirds of the company's operations, thanks to a systematic approach to business in Europe, America, the Middle East, the Far East, Africa and Australia, the tendency to outsource production and introduce non-traditional materials to bathroom accessories, Scarabeo was able to respond immediately to the new dynamics of innovation in the industry. In 1998, Giovanni Calisti introduced a new line dedicated to old-fashioned washbasins, reinterpreting them with a more modern, innovative design. That's why Scarabeo decided to make the washbasin the focal point of the bathroom. Today, the goal is even more ambitious: to make the company a brand in the bathroom furnishing industry, to present complete solutions for bathroom furnishings, to take full advantage of its market position and customer trust built by its washbasins.

In 2005, Scarabeo started work in the bathroom furnishing industry and has since introduced one or two complete lines of bathroom faucets every year, and Loft in Dubai and Crown Casino Hotel in Melbourne won the Design Plus Award 2013. This renowned award is given by the German Design Council and the German Chamber of Commerce .
