Inspired by Secondome Edizioni

Secondome Design Gallery is a design platform that focuses on emerging global designers and innovative projects. For ten years the gallery has been devoting its installation space to design work that it runs; each piece, whether as a collection or limited series, speaks louder than the words in their whimsical nature of the subject versus the material. Mostly handmade products, honoring the craftsmanship and practice of modern craftsmanship, reflect traditional design values while breaking the form of inanimate art objects. More than a gallery, Secondome Edizioni, since April 2008, has also established itself as a brand, producing its own collection of design objects, working closely with its designers. With an emphasis on the Made in Italy brand, most of our production is handcrafted on site. Secondome's works have been exhibited in some of the most important museums in the world: The Vitra Museum in Germany, The Shanghai Museum of Glass, The Grand Hornu in Belgium, La Triennale in Milan, The New Museum in New York. Secondome explores and promotes the combination of innovative design with Italian craftsmanship know-how.
