Steel is an Italian company with a long family heritage. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Carpi near Bologna, the company is owned and operated by the family of the Third generation engaged in the production of cookware with hobs. The original company was founded by Angelo Po in 1922, and his stainless steel craftsmanship helped create the first handmade ovens and later high-quality restaurant equipment.

Today, Steel is at the forefront of cooker and cooker hood manufacturers for the domestic market. Innovation and functionality are the keywords behind Steel's aesthetic design and professional approach to kitchen products. As Steel grew, proprietary brands such as Genesi, Ascot and Sintesi also emerged, as well as a range of semi-professional grills and outdoor cooking equipment.
