In 1978, Hugues Chevalier created his signature collection inspired by the great designer tradition of the 1930s. Hugues Chevalier returned to the aesthetics of the world-famous French decorative art of the 20th century; his creations and contemporary interpretations of the era were immediate success. The originality of the models, high quality and attention to detail have been unanimously appreciated by professionals and the public, eager for a timeless but statutory collection. In 2013, Hugues Chevalier joined the BC Bertrand group formed in 1965 by Hubert Taieb. All creations are made by craftsmen - carpenters, glaziers and upholsterers - from the group whose work proves the high quality and skills of the profession in the great tradition of luxurious furniture. Building on this rich experience and passion, each Hugues Chevalier creation is unique in its conception and production, reflecting our knowledge and culture. BC Bertrand Group intends to develop the Hugues Chevalier collection. Carpets and lighting will become an integral part of the new collection.
