The Hepworth drainage lineage was forged in 1858 when Hepworth Iron Company Ltd was founded to mine iron and later to manufacture plumbing pipes and refractory bricks. The foundation for the company and the products our customers experience today was laid in the 1980's and 1990's when the first generation of high-speed roller kiln technology was introduced . This process, now highly refined and developed, ensures our standard of the "Fired to Perfection" brand. In 2005, Hepworth was acquired by Wavin. The alliance that underpins our commitment to provide the highest quality clay drainage systems and terracotta products with the lowest possible carbon footprint and absolute compliance with standards.
